The Sunflower Competition winners are announced

The British Friends of Reuth, supporting Reuth Medical Centre in Israel, are delighted to announce that Miri Frydenson from Beis Yaakov School is the winner of the 2016 primary schools National Great Sunflower growing competition. She grew the tallest sunflower to an impressive 176 cm, competing with 665 pupils from 16 Jewish Schools nationwide.

Miri wrote the following poem about this project:

The tallest sunflower we did grow

To help the special people’s faces glow

As the sunflower creeps up slowly to this great sight

So we wish all at Reuth Medical Centre reach great heights
