Menorah Foundation School Wins

The British Friends of Reuth, supporting Reuth Medical Centre in Israel, are delighted to announce that Adina Cooperman of Menorah Foundation School is the winner of the 2015 primary schools National Great Sunflower growing competition. She grew the tallest sunflower to an impressive 227 cm, competing with over 600 pupils from 14 Jewish Schools nationwide.

 Our Runner-Ups are:

First runner up – Kerem School, Ryan Stock with 224cm

Second runner up – Kerem School, Rafi Singer with 185cm

 A very big WELL DONE to our three winners, and to all the pupils who participated, who raised over £1,600 for the Reuth Medical Centre. The money raised will be used towards Gardening Therapy to improve the Quality of Life of the patients.

 The competition included the following schools:

Beis Yaakov, Bodetsky Primary School, Clore Shalom, Hasmonean Primary School, Kerem School, Menorah Foundation School, Moriah Jewish Day School, Michael Sobell Sinai School , Naima Jewish Preparatory School, North West London Jewish Day School, Rosh Pinah Primary School, Sacks Morasha Jewish Primary School,  Wolfson Hillel Primary School and Wolfson Hillel Primary School - special needs unit

This competition is in its fourth year and we would like to thank all of the schools, both pupils and staff, for all their support for this project and for the Reuth Medical Centre.
