Help patients like Ben Naim
Ben Naim, 24, always dreamed of being a “normal kid”, but his cerebral palsy meant that he was always going to be wheelchair-bound. Despite many challenges, Ben graduated from High School with honours, and served as an intelligence officer in the IDF. The new revolutionary Re-Step™ technology being pioneered at the Reuth Medical Centre, Tel Aviv, has enabled Ben to walk for the very first time after just five months of treatment.
Recently, Ben was invited to meet the Israeli President, Reuven Rivlin at the President’s Residence in Jerusalem. The President told him: “You are proof that there are people in Israeli society for whom nothing is impossible."
A patient’s walking ability can be severely impaired or restricted due to a stroke, Parkinson's disease, MS or brain injury. Re-Step™ is an innovative technology which helps patients gain better mobility and a better quality of life. The system consists of a pair of “smart” shoes connected to specialist software, which helps the patient to regain the ability to walk.
Please help us support patients like Ben, so that these ground breaking, treatments can make a real difference to a patient’s quality of life.
