National schools sunflower competition
On Thursday 23rd
April, the British Friends of Reuth launched the National Schools Great
Sunflower Race at Rosh Pinah School. This competition is running for the 4th
year in association with the Jewish News, with 13 primary schools and over 600
pupils from year 2 participating from across the UK. The aim is to grow
the tallest sunflower, and to raise awareness and funds for the rooftop garden
and gardening therapy programmes at the Reuth Medical Centre, Tel Aviv. The
competition lasts until the end of June2015. The three pupils who grow the
tallest sunflowers will win prizes.

Foundation, Moriah Jewish Day, Naima Jewish Preparatory, North West London
Jewish Day, Rosh Pinah Jewish Primary, Sacks Morasha Jewish Primary and Wolfson
Hillel Primary schools.
